I have not been able to write about Bali, (which I visited mid-way through June), until now, but I figured better late than never.😃. I’ve decided to split my Bali travel over 2 posts. My initial post was getting lengthy and I want you to read to the end.
If you read my previous post, you’ll remember that I was in Singapore and traveled from there to Bali, with friends. The flight from Singapore to Bali was less than 3 hours. Of course, Singapore is right up there with the world’s most developed, so landing at Ngurah Rai International Airport, in Bali, was a stark contrast. In actual fact, a comparison would be unjustified so I will not attempt it.

Some friends and I traveled to Singapore en-route to Bali earlier in June. We were there for 2 nights and tried to pack as much into our stay as possible. Singapore was more coincidental than it was choice but it turned out to be an enlightening experience of how people on the other side of development live. Being in the top 10 of the world’s most expensive cities, you can only imagine the sort of damage it can do on a fairly average developing country pocket. So we had an itinerary and as far as possible stuck to it.
