Today is my nappyversary. Its 3 years since the big chop and not a single regret. I am excited for my natural hair journey, how far I have come and where I am going. I am sharing a few thoughts based on a conversation that I had with a friend a few weeks back. It went a little like this:
There is: natural, lazy natural and then there’s me. If there is a natural hair short cut, I’ll find it. On wash days, I am hyped enough to go all out LOC (leave in conditioner, oil and plenty of cream/butter). Thereafter I follow a simple routine to keep my hair moisturised. It starts with a spritz bottle(any refillable bottle with a spray action). I’ve tried a few recipes, some I found too oily and others left my hair sticky. In the trial and error process, I made a spritz that suits my hair needs. So I am sharing my recipe with you in the hopes that it will treat you as well it treats my 4C hair.
