Rocking your Teeny Weeny Afro

You’ve big chopped and are now faced with a styling natural hair dilemma. You’re in luck because its all smooth sailing from here. The best part about my TWA was…wash and go. My wash day routine was simple. I could wash, moisturize, rub my flat palm gently on my hair and I was ready to head out (not forgetting a popping lip colour).Yes, wash and go was great but, by this stage I was excited to experiment with styling, and you might be too.

Can you imagine bantu knots on such short hair (the length above)? No you say? I did bantu knots on that TWA and the results were pleasantly surprising. I used Aunty Jackies Curl La La on damp hair to twist and roll into bantu knots.

It took a bit of time but the results the next day were worth it: a stretched out TWA styled into a mini frohawk.

Give it a try and let me how it goes, or let me know how you rocked your TWA.

Chat soon 🙂

Taonga.
